Idaho Power Donation Supports Life’s Kitchen in Boise

Idaho Power is a proud supporter of Life’s Kitchen, a nonprofit social enterprise that provides at-risk young people with work and life skills through education and on-the-job training in the food service industry.

Through workforce development, life skills training and a GED program, trainees receive the resources they need to become successful — fulfilling Life’s Kitchen’s mission of “Serving Second Chances.” Idaho Power Energy Advisor Ron Krahn recently stopped by Life Kitchen’s restaurant and headquarters in Boise, delivering a company donation of $2,000 to Executive Director Tammy Johnson and continuing Idaho Power’s tradition of lending a hand at Life’s Kitchen.

“Idaho Power’s generous donation will help us meet the high demand for our program during this unprecedented time,” Johnson said. “We appreciate Idaho Power’s commitment to the youth of our community.”

Donations come from IDACORP shareowners and/or employee giving and do not impact customer rates. To learn more about Idaho Power’s community work, visit idahopower.com/community.
