Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

LIHEAP is a federally funded program for qualified households. The program provides a one-time payment (per program year) to assist with heating costs in the winter. Eligibility for LIHEAP is based on a number of factors including household size and income. To apply for this program, contact an energy assistance agency by selecting the city nearest your home below.

Only available Nov. 1 – Jan. 31 every year.

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, energy assistance agencies may have additional resources beyond January 31. Please contact the energy assistance agency near you for further information.
