Project Share is a year-round bill pay assistance program started by Idaho Power in 1982. It’s administered by The Salvation Army and funding is provided by Idaho Power’s customers and shareholders, other utilities and private donations.
One hundred percent of Idaho Power customers’ donations go to Project Share recipients. The assistance is available to supplement energy needs and can be applied to bills for electric and gas. The program can also help pay for heating commodities like:
- Wood
- Propane
- Oil
- Coal
How to Pledge Your Donation on Your Bill
Mark the Project Share box on your Idaho Power bill:
- Monthly — Set an amount to add to each month’s bill
- Round-Up — Donate the difference between your monthly amount due and the nearest dollar
- Monthly, and Round Up Future Bills — Each month, donate a set amount plus the difference between the amount due and the nearest dollar
Your monthly contribution to Project Share is conveniently added and itemized on your bill.
To make a one-time donation or to change your pledge amount, call our Customer Care Team at 208-388-2323 or 1-800-488-6151 (for outside the Treasure Valley).
