Southeastern Idaho Residents Can Enroll for Spring Shade Tree Project

Idaho Power’s Shade Tree Project encourages homeowners to plant shade trees to help shade their homes, reduce energy use by up to 15% and improve local air and water quality.

For a limited time, Idaho Power residential customers in Bannock, Bingham, Lemhi, Oneida and Power counties are eligible to receive up to two free shade trees.

Enrollment is open now! Eligible customers can reserve their free shade trees online by visiting idahopower.com/shadetree. A limited number of trees are available for the spring offering, so sign up now! Pickup events are happening in Pocatello this Thursday, April 27 and Saturday, April 29.

Several species are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participation is limited to two trees per address for the life of the program.
