Idaho Power Hosting Virtual and In-Person Outage Preparedness Meetings

Dozens of Idaho Power customers have attended 11 Idaho Power-hosted public meetings and open houses this spring to talk about outage preparedness, safety, and wildfire prevention, including public safety power shutoffs (PSPS). More are scheduled for next month, including a virtual option in English and Spanish.

Attendees can visit with Idaho Power experts about:

  • Planning for their unique needs in case of an outage
  • What Idaho Power is doing to strengthen the grid and keep communities safe
  • Tools to prevent wildfires, including PSPS — a proactive outage to help prevent fire during extreme weather
  • Tools to help customers manage their accounts and stay informed, including Idaho Power’s app and outage alerts
