Project Share Contributions Help Neighbors with Energy Bills

IDACORP shareowners recently made a $25,000 donation to The Salvation Army, joining our customers’ contributions of $170,600 for the 2017–18 Project Share season. These contributions help provide energy-bill assistance to our neighbors in need.

Shareholders also contributed $17,066 to pay Salvation Army administrative costs to manage Project Share, ensuring 100 percent of all donations go to help individuals and families.
Since 1982, the Idaho Power program, managed through The Salvation Army, has assisted individuals and families who are experiencing hardships and need a little help with their energy bills, including bills for electricity, natural gas, wood, propane, oil and coal.
