New Video Series Helps Bust Electricity Myths

There are common misconceptions about electricity, and some of them can lead to safety hazards. To help keep our communities safe, Idaho Power recently published a series of videos dispelling common myths about electricity.

The videos, which are available on YouTube, cover why powerlines are never safe to touch, how electricity takes all paths to the ground, how electricity can arc to nearby objects, and why household rubber goods will not prevent an electrical shock.
