Families can put a little wild in their weekend at the World Center for Birds of Prey south of Boise, during the center’s annual Family Field Trip Weekend this Saturday and Sunday. Kids get in free both days.
The center is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. At this drop-in style event, visitors will see live bird demonstrations, participate in family-friendly crafts and activities, learn about circuits (and raptors) with Idaho Power and spend time outdoors on the scenic interpretive trails.
They will have an opportunity to see a wide variety of birds of prey. Family Field Trip Weekend is hosted by The Peregrine Fund and Idaho Power.
If you miss this Family Field Trip Weekend, don’t despair; another one is coming up in February. For full details, visit the event page at peregrinefund.org.
