Idahoans are more energy conscious than ever, and according to data from the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), the increased awareness is paying off.
Idaho was the most improved state on the ACEEE’s 2017 State Energy Efficiency Scorecard. The Gem State jumped seven spots to 26th on ACEEE’s list, reflecting the great work Idaho Power customers do to increase their efficiency through wise use and participation in energy-efficiency programs.
While the ACEEE Scorecard pertains to statewide usage, Idaho Power has the state’s largest service area, with more than 500,000 customers ranging from Blackfoot and Pocatello in the east to Twin Falls in the south, the Treasure Valley in the west and McCall and Salmon in the north.
