Idaho Power customers who make tax-deductible donations to the program through their monthly bills contributed nearly $177,476 between Oct. 1, 2016, and Sept. 30, 2017. Project Share provided 1,255 grants during the Project Share program year.
Since 1982, the Idaho Power program, managed through The Salvation Army, has assisted individuals and families who are experiencing hardships and need a little help with their energy bills.
Throughout Idaho Power’s service area, Project Share has helped neighbors in need pay heating bills for electricity, natural gas, wood, propane, oil and coal.
