Donation Provides Infant CPR Kits

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Idaho Power made a heartfelt donation to the American Heart Association (AHA). The money purchased 200 infant CPR kits, which will be distributed to hospitals across Idaho. Each kit includes supplies and training materials to teach infant CPR and choking relief.

Idaho Power Community and Customer Relations Outreach Coordinator Dave Thornton, Senior Metering System Specialist Angela Creason and Operations Support Senior Manager Melissa Boyd met with Associate Heart Walk Director Brandi Keefe of AHA to make the donation on Feb. 10 outside Idaho Power headquarters in Boise. Creason, a sudden cardiac arrest survivor, is an advocate of the AHA’s lifesaving mission, while Boyd serves on the Idaho AHA Board. Idaho Power is a regular participant in the AHA’s annual Heart Walk.

Donations come from IDACORP shareowners and/or employee community funds and do not impact customer rates. To learn more about Idaho Power’s community work, visit
