We have closed public access to the face of C.J. Strike Dam, the spillway area, the spill gates and the intake (or penstock) structure due to safety and security concerns.
Scout Park provides 10 acres of outdoor recreation. It is located at the base of the dam. Facilities at the park include:
- 33 universal campsites
- Restroom with flush toilets
- Large turf area
- Group picnic shelter
- Waterfront walking path
- Day-use parking area
- Shade trees
- Picnic tables
- Recreational vehicle (RV) dump station

We allow camping using tents or RVs in developed campgrounds or undeveloped areas near the reservoir. Stays are limited to 14 consecutive days. Obey all campground rules and keep motorized vehicles within the posted speed limit.
