On Thursday, Idaho Power will display an electric car and a hybrid pickup in front of the state Capitol to show the company’s support for this clean technology and encourage lawmakers and other Idahoans to learn more about electric vehicles. At 12:30 p.m., Gov. Brad Little will proclaim Feb. 14 Electric Vehicle Day in Idaho.
The Chevy Bolt and Ford F-150 pickup are both part of Idaho Power’s fleet of electric and hybrid-electric vehicles. A Tesla that belongs to a local resident also will be at the Capitol from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Jefferson Street, between 6th and 8th streets.
