Woodhead

Woodhead Park is on the Idaho side of Brownlee Reservoir. It is a few miles upstream of the dam. The park was built in 1959. Idaho Power improved and expanded the park in 1995.

The park was named for Ed Woodhead, a former chief construction engineer of the Brownlee Power Plant.

Woodhead Park has 124 recreational vehicle sites with:

  • Electricity
  • Picnic tables

The park's 15 tent sites include:

  • Water
  • Fire pits
  • Picnic tables

Other park features:

  • Two boat ramps
  • Public pay phones
  • RV dump station
  • Overnight truck and boat trailer parking
  • Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) compliant accessible restrooms with showers
  • Uncovered and covered day-use picnic areas
  • Wireless high speed Internet (for an added fee).
