Donate to Project Share

Project Share is a year-round energy assistance program started by Idaho Power in 1982. It’s administered by The Salvation Army and energy assistance funding is provided by both Idaho Power’s and Intermountain Gas’ customers and shareholders, other utilities and private donations.

One hundred percent of customers’ donations go to Project Share recipients. The assistance is available to supplement energy needs and can be applied to both primary and secondary sources of energy, including electric and natural gas. The program can also be used to pay for heating commodities including:

  • Wood
  • Propane
  • Oil
  • Coal
  • Furnace repairs

Pledge Options Available on Your Bill

  • Monthly — You set an amount to add to your bill each month.
  • Round-Up — You select to donate the difference between amount due and the nearest dollar.
  • Onetime — You decide how much to donate once on your bill and return that donation with your bill.

Your monthly contribution to Project Share is conveniently added and itemized on your bill.

You may change or cancel your pledge by calling 208-388-2323 or 1-800-488-6151, outside the Treasure Valley.
