Project Share is a year-round energy assistance program started by Idaho Power in 1982. It’s administered by The Salvation Army and energy assistance funding is provided by both Idaho Power’s and Intermountain Gas’ customers and shareholders, other utilities and private donations.
One hundred percent of customers’ donations go to Project Share recipients. The assistance is available to supplement energy needs and can be applied to both primary and secondary sources of energy, including electric and natural gas. The program can also be used to pay for heating commodities including:
- Furnace repairs
