Idaho Power Invites Businesses to Electric Vehicle Open House

Idaho Power invites Magic Valley area businesses to join them at an open house to learn about electric vehicles (EV) for fleet operations. Several types of EVs will be on display, including passenger vehicles, a pickup truck, electric forklift, Class-8 truck and small electric tractor. Other area organizations, such as the Treasure Valley Clean Cities Coalition, will be available to discuss their use and benefits.

Lower operating costs and no- to-low fuel emissions are among the top reasons to consider EVs. Businesses can learn about federal grant opportunities and incentives.

The open house will be held May 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the College of Southern Idaho Health Sciences and Human Services outdoor parking lot. The address is 397 N. College Road in Twin Falls, 83301. RSVPs are appreciated but not required: visit idahopower.com/ev and click the “learn more and register” box.
