To meet the need for more transmission capacity to serve customers in Idaho and throughout the Northwest, Idaho Power is proposing to build the 500-kilovolt Boardman to Hemingway transmission line.
The proposed route is approximately 300 miles long, running from northeast Oregon to southwest Idaho.
Idaho Power is leading the permitting phase efforts of the project, with Bonneville Power Administration and PacifiCorp as funding partners.
