C.J. Strike Overnight Camping Fees
Day use in all parks remains free, however, a fee program is now in place for overnight camping in the following C.J. Strike parks:
Upgrades have been made at these campgrounds including:
- New designated campsites and spurs
- Picnic tables
- Fire rings
- Restroom improvements
- A fish cleaning station
- Enhanced boat launching facilities
- Interpretative/educational displays
The fees are consistent with fees charged at other campgrounds with similar services in the area. Fees are posted and collected at each park.
Idaho Power offers reduced camping fees to service-disabled veterans and campers over 60. For veterans with any level of service-related disability, overnight camping fees are lowered by 50 percent. Seniors receive $2 off summer rates and $1 off winter rates.
Recreation facilities at C.J. Strike are open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations are not accepted.
Water in the camping areas is shut off during winter. Restroom buildings at North and Scout parks have water year-round.
Single camping spaces do not have sewer hookups, but two recreational vehicle (RV) dump stations are offered:
- Near the Power Plant
- C.J. Wildlife Management Headquarters
The RV dump stations are closed during winter.

Tent campers camping in a designated RV space will be charged the normal nightly fee for an RV space as listed at each park. A maximum of three tents may be set up in an RV space at one time, if there's room.
Summer Camping Fees (April-October)
Winter Camping Fees (November-March)
The park facilities are provided and regulated according to section 10(a) of the Federal Power Act. Consistent with this and other laws, rules and regulations, reasonable fees are charged for the use of the facilities at the C.J. Strike parks. All rates apply per site, per night, per season.
