The Wyakin Warrior Foundation opens new doors to severely wounded or ill post 9/11 veterans through education, mentoring and professional career development.

Idaho Humane Society, Boise, Idaho

An advocate for the welfare and responsible care of animals, the Idaho Humane Society promotes humane education, awareness and compassion, and helps connect the right pet with loving owners.

Boise Bicycle Project, Boise, Idaho

Boise Bicycle Project teaches bike repair, recycles and gives away thousands of bikes each year to kids in need and promotes safe, sustainable transportation. Idaho Power supports Boise Bicycle Project through charitable donations and employee volunteers.

World Center For Birds Of Prey, Boise, Idaho

Established in 1984, The Peregrine Fund�s World Center For Birds Of Prey is a global leader in restoring and preserving endangered raptors. Idaho Power shares their rich history by researching and implementing best management practices for avian protection around power lines. In March 2012, the World Center For Birds Of Prey received a Powering Tomorrow Grant so more children could experience these amazing birds.

Learning Lab, Garden City, Idaho

The Learning Lab is a computer-assisted learning center that helps adults and families with small children overcome the challenges of illiteracy. Students are provided basic skills instruction including mathematics, reading, writing, spelling, GED preparation and workplace skills. The result is a lasting change and a brighter future for students and their families. Idaho Power supports the Learning Lab through charitable donations.

Rural Idaho Outreach Partners (RIOP), Blackfoot, Idaho

Founded by Doug Sayer, owner and president of Premier Technology in Blackfoot, RIOP brings together schools and businesses to stimulate economic growth in rural areas of Idaho. Community partners expose high school students to opportunities for further education as well as teach skills that allow them to secure good paying jobs at local businesses. Idaho Power made a donation to support a RIOP economic development project in Salmon, Idaho.

Sagebrush Equine Training Center, Hailey, Idaho

Moved to help people through the healing power of horses, visionary Kristy Pigeon founded Sagebrush Equine Training Center For The Handicapped in 1991. This non-profit corporation uses horses as a unique form of therapy and recreation. Idaho Power supports Sagebrush through donations and employee volunteers.

Global Gardens, Star, Idaho

The Idaho Office for Refugees sponsors refugee agriculture projects for about 100 families. For many refugees, the land is everything. At community gardens, they can feed their families, reconnect with their culture and bring local produce to others. Idaho Power supports Global Gardens through employee volunteers and provided property for a community garden in Star, Idaho, in 2010.
