Idaho Power today submitted its annual Power Cost Adjustment (PCA) filing  to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (IPUC) that reflects the company’s fuel costs for generating electricity and power purchases.

Idaho Power Issues RFP For Up To 600 Megawatts Of Firm Power
Idaho Power today issued a Request For Proposals to acquire between 250 and 600 megawatts (MW) of firm or unit contingent energy by June 1, 2012. Completed response proposals are due early in the fourth quarter of this year.

Idaho Power Files Requests With Idaho Public Utilities Commission
Idaho Power today filed applications with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (IPUC) requesting commission approval of two actions related to energy efficiency initiatives. One action seeks the first rate adjustments under the pilot Fixed Cost Adjustment (FCA) while the other proposes increased funding for energy efficiency.

Idaho Power Asks IPUC For Authority To Include New Plant In Rates
Idaho Power today filed an application with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (IPUC) for authorization to place the construction costs of a 170 megawatt (MW) natural gas-fired power plant into the electricity rates paid by Idaho customers. The plant will be available to serve Idaho Power customers in time for this summer’s peak irrigation and air conditioning season.

IPUC Approves General Rate Case
The Idaho Public Utilities Commission today approved a stipulation agreement between Idaho Power, the IPUC staff, and representatives of various customer groups that concludes a general rate case filed by the company in June, 2007.

Idaho Power, the staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (IPUC), and representatives of various customer groups today filed a proposed stipulation with the IPUC that, if approved, will conclude a general rate case filed by the company in June, 2007.
