Fluorescent light bulbs, including compact fluorescent bulbs, contain a small amount of mercury. Idaho Power encourages safe handling and proper disposal of fluorescent bulbs. Please contact your local landfill or solid waste collection company for information on household hazardous waste collection programs or special handling requirements.

Current Offers

Purchase an ENERGY STAR qualified ceiling fan with light kit or a ceiling fan light kit and receive up to a $20 cash incentive from Idaho Power. Ceiling fans with light kits and ceiling fan light kits must be purchased on or after August 1, 2008.

Note: Ceiling fans without lights are not eligible for an incentive. De-listed products are not eligible. Incentive not to exceed purchase price.

Additional information:

Some products in stores and online may be mislabeled as ENERGY STAR when in fact they have not received the ENERGY STAR designation. Idaho Power can only pay incentives for products that appear on the ENERGY STAR qualified products lists at www.energystar.gov. If you find a product that you believe to be mislabeled, please contact us at homeproducts@idahopower.com. Let us know the product type, brand, model name and model number of the unit and we will forward the information to the EPA/DOE ENERGY STAR program.
