Interested in improving your electrical process? Saving energy? Saving money on your utility bill? How about qualifying for a financial incentive – up to 70 percent of the cost for an energy-saving project? These are the goals of Idaho Power’s Custom Efficiency program, launched in October 2003 as the Industrial Efficiency Program and revised and renamed in January 2007.

For smaller customers or those with less complex retrofit projects, our Easy Upgrades or Building Efficiency for Construction Projects programs may be a better fit.

The Custom Efficiency for Complex Projects program is funded through the Conservation Program Funding Charge that is assessed monthly to all Idaho Power customers, as approved by the Idaho Utilities Commission in May 2002 and by the Oregon Public Utilities Commission in August 2005. The money collected through this funding charge is used to develop and operate energy conservation programs to help reduce the demand for electricity within the company's service area.
