Each of the five workshops will be held on Thursday evenings from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the downtown Boise Public Library. October 9 – Growing Assets: Landscaping for Energy Efficiency
Are you looking for cost-effective yet eye-pleasing ways to lower your energy bills? In this workshop, local air, water, and landscape experts will show you how to design a safe, attractive landscape that can save 15-50 percent of seasonal energy costs and produce real dividends for the environment.

October 30 – Greening Your Home
Re-thinking your existing home? Whether you’re planning a major remodel, sprucing up, or just making a few simple green accommodations, this class will provide inspiration and more. Sharon and Josh will show you how to work with nature to reduce your monthly utility costs as well as your impact on the environment. You’ll see case studies on green renovations and get tips on what you can do in your home to make a difference.

November 6 – Build Smart
Come see how you can build a new home that is more comfortable, healthy, durable, and uses 30 to 50 percent less energy — at little or no additional cost to you.
