Idaho Power’s Project Share program is a valuable community service providing voluntary contributions used to assist individuals and families who need help paying their energy bills.
In 2002, approximately 6,600 people received assistance from Idaho Power’s customer donations.
As a Project Share contributor, donations customers make on their monthly Idaho Power bill are passed through directly to the Salvation Army.
You may pledge an amount to be added to your monthly bill or pledge a one-time contribution.
You can also mark the "round-up" feature, which rounds up your monthly bill to the nearest dollar. The difference - between your amount due and the even dollar amount - goes to Project Share.
If you would like to begin a contribution to Project Share or increase your current contribution, please complete the pledge form online, or print it and mail to Idaho Power (or return with your next bill payment) to Idaho Power, P.O. Box 70, Boise Idaho, 83707.
Your tax-deductible pledge will be conveniently added to your monthly bill and your contribution will be itemized and displayed on the front of your bill. You may change or cancel your pledge at any time by calling our customer service center at 208-388-2323 from the Treasure Valley area, or 1-800-488-6151.
Our automated phone system will help you access your Idaho Power account 24-hours-a-day. Please be prepared to provide your account number.
