- In 2002, the total amount of Project Share grants given was
$278,480. Of that, Idaho Power customers contributed $157,335 and IDACORP
Inc. shareowners contributed their annual $25,000 grant. Natural gas customers
also contribute to the program.
- Nearly 6,600 individuals in southern Idaho and eastern Oregon
received assistance from Project Share, through the Salvation
Army, with their home heating bills.
- Heating grants may be used to fix furnaces, buy firewood,
propane, oil or coal and to pay existing electricity or natural gas bills.
- The number of grants provided during the 2002 heating season
totaled 2,111.
