Budget Pay is a convenient payment plan designed to help you keep your electricity bills manageable all year long.
With Budget Pay your electricity charges are spread out evenly over a 12-month period. The monthly payment is the average of 12 monthly billings based on historical charges or an estimate of future charges. Your Budget Pay amount is reviewed at least once a year based on your actual electricity usage. Because your Budget Pay amount may go up or down, we will notify you about any changes to your Budget Pay amount.
This service is available to all residential customers with current accounts and no past-due amounts owed. To see if you qualify and to sign up, just enter your account number using ExpressView, or register and become an Account Manager to get all the benefits of ExpressView plus, view your payment and usage histories, and stop or transfer your electrical service. You'll need a copy of your latest Idaho Power bill.
You may also sign up for Budget Pay by calling our automated phone system at 208-388-2323 from the Boise area, or 1-800-488-6151, outside Boise. Please be prepared to provide your account number.
Personal assistance is available Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Mountain Standard Time. Please note: Monday is our busiest day. It may be easier to reach us Tuesday through Friday.
