Project Share Program

Help A Neighbor With Energy Costs

Idaho Power’s Project Share program is a valuable community service providing voluntary contributions to individuals and families needing help paying their electric, natural gas, propane, oil, or firewood bills.

During the 2007/2008 heating season, Idaho Power customers donated $201,077 and IDACORP, Inc. shareholders donated $45,108 for a total donation of $246,185. These donations helped 6,860 individuals in our community keep their homes heated during cold winter months.

How You Can Help

By making a pledge of $2, $5, or $10, for example, you can help someone less fortunate meet the demands of winter heating. Your pledge is conveniently added to your monthly bill amount and you're making a difference in the lives of those around you.

Every penny of your tax-deductible donation will be sent to The Salvation Army. You will never be disconnected from electrical service for nonpayment of a Project Share pledge.

Need Help?

If you need help paying heating bills, especially if you're 65 or older, contact the Salvation Army or an energy assistance agency by selecting the city nearest your residence.
