Credit/Debit Card or Check with Fee

For your convenience, you can now use a credit card to pay your bill. You will be charged a convenience fee of $2.85 per transaction.

Pay By Phone

To use your credit card and pay by phone, call NCO Financial, an independent payment service, at 1-800-829-5415 between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m., weekdays and from 6 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.

Note: Mondays are the busiest day.

You will be asked the following:

  • Which utility you are making a payment for.
  • Name on the account, the account number, service address and phone number.
  • Your credit card type (Discover, Diners Club, Visa and Mastercard only), number and expiration date.
  • What type of payment you want to make (regular payment, scheduled disconnection payment or a reconnection payment).
  • Any other additional card information.

You will be given a 12-digit payment identification number. If you are paying for a scheduled disconnection or a reconnection, you will be asked to call Idaho Power back with your payment identification number.

It will take four days from the date the payment is made until it is posted to your account.

For immediate customer service needs or personal assistance, call us at 208-388-2323, or 1-800-488-6151 from outside the Treasure Valley. Our automated phone system will help you access your Idaho Power account 24-hours-a-day. Be prepared to provide your account number.

Personal assistance is available weekdays, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Mountain Time. Please note: Monday is our busiest day. It may be easier to reach us Tuesday through Friday.
