End of Day Forecast*
As a result of the 2009 Fall Chinook program, Brownlee reservoir will be at elevation 2,035 feet above mean sea level, on October 14. The draft of Brownlee is necessary to capture inflow to the reservoir that will be in excess of the flat spawning flow release. The Brownlee reservoir boat ramps that will be usable in October will be limited to Woodhead Park. More ramps will become available as Brownlee fills during the Fall Chinook spawning period
Access
Access across Brownlee Dam, Oxbow Dam and the Oxbow intake area has been restricted to employees only. All parks and day-use facilities remain open at the Hells Canyon Complex.
