Park Facilities

Scout Park provides visitors with 10 acres of recreational opportunities and is located at the base of the dam. After construction, facilities at the park will include:

• 10 - 14 camping / fishing sites
• 10 - 14 universal campsites
• Group picnic shelter
• Waterfront walking path
• Day-use parking area
• Tree plantings
• Picnic tables

Idaho Power owns and maintains three other parks in the C.J. Strike area:

• North Park
• Locust Park
• Cottonwood Park

Camping at C.J. Strike

Idaho Power allows camping using either tents or RVs in developed campgrounds or undeveloped areas near the reservoir. Stays at all developed campgrounds and lands are limited to 14 consecutive days. Please obey all posted campground rules. Remember to keep all motorized vehicles within the posted speed limit.
