For more than 50 years, Idaho Power has recognized the effects our hydro facilities operations have on natural populations of salmon, steelhead and other species of fish downstream of the company’s Hells Canyon Complex.

We're proud of our hatchery program and the added value we're able to bring to Native tribes, anglers and people of the Northwest.

In addition to providing fish for harvest, surplus broodstock captured at our hatcheries are donated to food banks and Native Americans for subsistence and ceremonial purposes.
