This short film, produced by Morley Nelson’s film company Tundra Films, was largely filmed in Idaho Power’s service area.

It chronicles efforts by Nelson and other researchers to protect birds of prey from electrocution through the use of devices like nesting platforms on power poles.

The film also showcases the cooperative effort by the utility industry and environmental groups to protect birds of prey from potential electrocutions while improving utilities’ ability to provide reliable electricity service.
