Although the cost of renewable resources is decreasing, it still costs a little more to use natural resources but doing so will go a long way to preserve our environment for future generations.
The average customer uses 1,050 kilowatt-hours of electricity each month. If you were to match 100 percent of your electricity with green power, it would cost about $10.00 per month in addition to your current electricity charge. The table below shows the annual environmental impact of individual contributions in 2010.
In 2011, the price premium for Green Power will change from 0.95¢ to 1.2¢ per kWh. Click here for 2011 pricing.
