Idaho Power Crews Depart for New York, Aim to Begin Work by Thursday
Two Idaho Power crews and nearly a dozen trucks departed Monday morning for a cross-country trek to Long Island, New York. The crews expect to begin working alongside Long Island Power Authority as early as Thursday morning to aid in restoration efforts in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. Idaho Power Surpasses 500,000 Customers
Idaho Power recently recorded a new milestone: 500,000 customers! That breaks down to more than 480,000 points of service in southern Idaho and nearly 20,000 in southeastern Oregon. The greatest increase over last year was in the residential sector which had about 3,600 new customers.
