Crews Rescue Cat From Power Pole

Fritz the cat spent a couple chilly nights on top of a power pole in Nampa but, thanks to Idaho Power crews, he’s safely back on the ground and resting comfortably at home with his owners. 

Our crews arrived on the scene at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Working from a “bucket” truck, workers de-energized the lines, then went high into the sky to rescue Fritz. However, Fritz made his way even higher up the pole, and a larger truck had to be brought in. At approximately 2 p.m., our crews successfully retrieved Fritz from the pole and he was reunited with his owners.
