Oregon Trail Neighborhood Fire Information
On Aug. 25, 2008 a fire ignited on Idaho Power’s property in an east Boise subdivision consuming 10 homes and damaging nine others. Boise Fire Chief Dennis Doan said in an official statement the fire was “determined to be an accident caused by high winds.”
Idaho Power along with city and county agencies worked collaboratively assisting residents impacted by the fire and implementing remedial measures in the area.
