ENERGY STAR qualified refrigerators:
- Use high efficiency compressors, improved insulation in doors and exterior walls and more precise temperature and defrost controls.
- Available in Top Mount Freezer, Side Mount Freezer and Bottom Mount Freezer (most efficient).
- Include styles with automatic ice-makers and through-the-door ice dispensers, which all affect energy savings.
