Home Improvement Program — Attic Insulation

How to receive your incentive:

1. Have insulation installed and pay the contractor the full invoice amount upon job completion. Incentives are paid only for work done June 1, 2009, or thereafter.

2. Make sure the contractor gives you an itemized receipt/invoice and a completed Home Improvement Program – Attic Insulation Field Worksheet.

3. Completely fill out the Home Improvement Program incentive application. Incomplete forms may be delayed.

4. Make a copy of the completed incentive application, itemized contractor receipt/invoice and Home Improvement Program – Attic Insulation Field Worksheet for your records.

5. Mail the completed incentive application, itemized contractor receipt/invoice and Home Improvement Program – Attic Insulation Field Worksheet to Idaho Power at:

6. You will receive your incentive check within 6- 8 weeks.

Qualified Customers

The incentive payment is applicable to single residences, on Idaho Power’s Residential Schedule 1 and located in the state of Idaho. The insulation must be installed in a home within Idaho Power’s service area in the state of Idaho, and the customer must have current service with Idaho Power. Incentive payment is only paid to the customer who is listed on the Idaho Power account.

Application Details

Applications must include all information requested. Incomplete or missing information may result in the delay or denial of the incentive payment. Idaho Power reserves the right to conduct random on-site inspections to verify information provided on the application. False information may lead to cancellation of this and future incentive applications and/or a claim by Idaho Power for the return of any incentive.

Incentive Availability

Incentive payment qualifications and amounts are subject to change or termination at any time and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Idaho Power issues incentive payments in the form of checks and not utility bill credits.

Idaho Power does not endorse any particular manufacturer, contractor or product.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Idaho Power neither expressly nor implicitly warrants nor assumes any legal liability or responsibility for the performance, quality, safety, installation or estimated energy and/or cost savings of the insulation purchased and installed.

Information Release

The applicant understands and agrees that Idaho Power and/or its representatives may include a description of this program and other project details in its case studies, brochures, press releases, advertisements and other marketing materials presented to the public. Idaho Power will attempt to provide notice prior to the use of such information.

*Incentive applications and receipts must be submitted within 90 days of attic insulation installation to qualify for incentive. Allow 6-8 weeks for processing and payment of incentive.
