Terms and Conditions

Incentive Availability

Incentive qualifications and amounts are subject to change or termination at any time. Incentives will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Incentive Qualification

Efficiency measures are available for single-family, multi-family and manufactured homes. All measures (except evaporative coolers) must be installed by a Participating Installer/Service Technician working for a Participating Company and must comply with all program requirements.

Qualifying Applicants

Residential customers receiving electric service under Idaho Power’s Residential Schedules may qualify, as well as builders building new homes, and property owners and managers purchasing qualified equipment for residential rental properties served by Idaho Power.

Qualifying Equipment and Services

All equipment must be new and purchased and installed prior to submitting an Incentive Application. Equipment must have been purchased and installed after Jan. 1, 2009 from a Participating Company and meet all program requirements.

Application Details

Applications must include all information requested. Failure to provide this information may result in the delay or denial of the incentive. Idaho Power reserves the right to conduct random on-site inspections to verify information provided on the application.

Idaho Power issues incentives in the form of checks and not utility bill credits. Idaho Power is not responsible if the Participating Company, who provides and installs the equipment and services, provides inaccurate information about the amount and/or conditions of the actual incentive. Idaho Power will not pay incentives for equipment that is mislabeled or misrepresented regarding incentive qualifications. Households receiving incentives under the Idaho Power Heating and Cooling Efficiency Program may not receive incentives for the same equipment/service under another Idaho Power program.

Incentive Limitations and Limitation of Damages

Payment of the incentive by Idaho Power does not guarantee the performance of qualifying/installed efficiency measures and does not guarantee that the qualifying/installed efficiency measures will deliver any specified amount of energy or cost savings. The customer shall independently evaluate any information related to the qualifying measure.

Idaho Power makes no representation of warranty, express or implied, and assumes no liability with respect to quality, safety, performance, or other aspect of any design, system or appliance installed pursuant to this program, and expressly disclaims any such representation, warranty or liability. Applicant agrees to indemnify Idaho Power Company, its parent company, affiliates and subsidiaries and the directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns of each against all loss, damage, expense, and liability arising from any measures installed.
