Idaho Power, The Idaho Foodbank and the Southeast Oregon Regional Food Bank have teamed up again for a limited-time offer that can help you, your neighborhood and your community.

Sign up for Idaho Power’s A/C Cool Credit by Feb. 28, 2010, and Idaho Power will donate $20 to either The Idaho Foodbank or the Southeast Oregon Regional Food Bank, depending on where you live. As a program participant, you’ll earn $21 in credits on your summer bills.

During hot summer afternoons, air conditioners run full blast while farmers pump water to their fields. The result is an ever-growing need for power at very specific peak times. Reducing the amount of energy used for air conditioning during these peak times helps meet our power needs while still ensuring the comfort of our customers.
