Steve R. Keen

Vice President – Finance and Treasurer, IDACORP, Inc. and Senior Vice President – Finance and Treasurer, Idaho Power

Steve Keen was named vice president of Finance and treasurer of IDACORP and Idaho Power in May 2010. His expanded responsibilities now include overseeing Finance, Corporate Planning and Analysis, Treasury, Corporate Tax and Investor Relations.

Prior to this appointment he was vice president and treasurer and before that he served as president of IDACORP Financial, a wholly-owned investment subsidiary of IDACORP focused primarily on tax-advantaged investments.

Keen started his career at Idaho Power in 1982 in the Property Accounting department. He later moved into the area of tax and worked as tax accountant, property tax representative and tax research analyst before attaining the position of tax director. He also served as interim CFO for IdaTech during most of 2001.

Keen is a CPA, licensed in the State of Idaho. He graduated with high honors in 1981 from Idaho State University in Pocatello with a BBA in Accounting.

Keen is past president of the board of directors and a current member of the Idaho Society of CPA's (ISCPA). He was named the "Outstanding CPA in Business and Industry for 1999" by the ISCPA. He's the current chairman of the board of directors for the Idaho Tax Foundation. He's also the current secretary-treasurer and member of the board of directors for the Idaho Housing and Finance Association. In addition, he is a past president of the board of governors of the Affordable Housing Investor's Council and past chairman of the board of directors of the Associated Taxpayers of Idaho.
