J. LaMont Keen

President and Chief Executive Officer, IDACORP, Inc. and Chief Executive Officer, Idaho Power

J. LaMont Keen assumed the responsibilities of president and chief executive officer of IDACORP on July 1, 2006. He was previously appointed chief executive officer of Idaho Power in November 2005 and had been its president and chief operating officer since March 2002.

Keen also has served on the IDACORP and Idaho Power board of directors since July 15, 2004.

Keen joined Idaho Power in 1974. He has served in numerous capacities over his career and has been an officer of Idaho Power and/or IDACORP since 1988. His previous officer assignments include controller, chief financial officer and senior vice president of administrative services.

Keen has played an active role in developing IDACORP’s subsidiaries over his career, being involved at either the officer or director level in all of the company's diversified business ventures.

He is a graduate of the College of Idaho and completed the Harvard Graduate School of Business Advanced Management Program.

He is a board member of the Edison Electric Institute and is a board member and former chairman of the Western Energy Institute and the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry. He also currently serves as a board member on the St. Luke's Hospital System Treasure Valley Board.
